Launcher terms of use

This text is a copy of the one shown in the launcher (version 2026-10-15.4); if they differ, the version of the launcher that you accepted applies. Purchases are governed by theterms of sale, the server by the rules, and personal data by theprivacy policy.

1. Publisher

The Athena Adventure launcher and the pack of the same name are published by BS Studio, a sole proprietorship (micro-entrepreneur), SIREN 848 574 067, 2 rue des sources, La Chapelle-Largeau, 79700 Mauléon, France. Contact: contact@bs-studio.fr.

2. Purpose

These terms govern the use of the launcher, which installs, updates and launches the Athena Adventure pack so that you can play on the server of the same name. The server is free. Purchases are governed by the terms of sale of the website. The launcher also shows, read-only, your friends list and who is in the game; friendships are managed in the game, and the related data processing is described in the privacy policy.

3. What you may do

BS Studio grants you a personal, free, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to install and use the launcher and the Athena Adventure creations (Athena mods, configurations, textures, texts, interfaces), solely to play on the official Athena Adventure server. You may publish videos and screenshots of your games. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. What you may not do

Unless BS Studio gives prior written permission, and subject to the rights the law gives you, you may not resell or redistribute the launcher or the Athena Adventure creations, reuse them in another mod, server or software, present them as your own, remove ownership notices, or bypass the launcher's integrity and authentication checks. The ban on decompiling or modifying applies only to BS Studio's creations; it does not limit the rights that the licenses of third-party components give you.

5. Mods and third-party components

The pack contains mods created by other authors. BS Studio has no rights over them and grants you none: each one remains subject to its own license, which alone applies to it. The launcher downloads them from CurseForge, over that platform's delivery network, and checks their fingerprint; BS Studio does not host them. Only mods whose author allows download by third-party applications are included. If you are the author of a mod and want it removed, write to contact@bs-studio.fr. See also Mods and licenses.

6. Pack integrity

Before each launch, the launcher compares the installed mods with the pack. An added or modified mod blocks the launch; the “Check and repair” and “Remove added mods” buttons restore the pack. Servers may require an attestation issued after this check. The settings you change in the game are never overwritten. The server rules forbid modifying the pack.

7. Account, access and suspension

You need a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft Java. You are responsible for your account. Access may be refused or suspended, in particular in case of a server ban, a breach of the rules, fraud or a tampered pack. A ban is in principle issued for the current season; its duration and reason are shown to you. You may ask for a sanction to be reviewed by writing to contact@bs-studio.fr with your username, in case of an obvious error, an account used by a third party, an unjustified technical block or new evidence. A person other than the one who made the decision reviews it where the team is able to, replies within an indicative 30 days, and the outcome is recorded.

8. Availability and liability

The launcher and the pack are provided as is. BS Studio does its best to keep them working but does not guarantee that they are error-free or that the service is available, and may interrupt it for maintenance. Its liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damage, except in case of gross or intentional fault, bodily injury or contrary legal provision; your consumer rights are not affected. 9. Updates

The launcher updates itself automatically. BS Studio may change these terms; you will then be asked to accept them again at your next launch.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of a dispute, please contact BS Studio first. Consumers may use consumer mediation free of charge with CM2C (49 rue de Ponthieu, 75008 Paris, cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php). Failing an amicable agreement, the competent French courts have jurisdiction.

Athena Adventure is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by Mojang AB or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB. The launcher signs you in with your Microsoft account; your sign-in token stays on your computer and is only sent to Mojang.
